Pip turns one week old today. I’ll be back soon I promise. It’s been a funny old week, with us spending the first four days in hospital and then the weekend getting used to being at home and seeing family visitors.
I do have one observation though. It seems Little Pip continues to be a tease. She plays little games with her Dad when he is changing her nappy and her latest trick is weeing all over him, twice in one nappy change this morning in a personal best. Hearing him talk and interact with her is one of the most lovely things I have ever heard.
I hope she’s really called Pip. 🙂

The most unexpected but most enjoyable thing for me has been seeing my husband fall in love with our baby. And now at ten months she really expresses that the feeling is mutual and just lights up when he is around.
