*a portrait of my child, once a week, every week in 2013*

this past week we’ve had a friend staying. a friend that can play the guitar. our friend has been very kindly spending time with Pip sometimes during the day and this is how I found them one lunch time this week. you can tell it’s just after lunch, well, just after a meal time, anyway, as Pip has no trousers on and her vest is undone to fit over a reusable nappy, which is her usual mealtime outfit. she thought the guitar playing was wonderful and I could have sat there for ages, watching the two of them play the guitar together.
