my brother-not-in-law has a great camera and he was kind enough to let me use it on Saturday afternoon to take a few photos of Pip. I rather like these ones. out of the perhaps several hundred I took he sent me only a handful, so he may have done some editing but I’m not sure.
at nearly 11 months, Pip is crawling so fast that sometimes she nose dives when she tried to propel herself faster than her little hands and arms can manage. she is pointing, speaking frequently (in a language I don’t understand) and is aware that books are for reading. she sits there turning the pages and laughing to herself. tonight, in her bath, I added bubbles and she sat there running her hands through them and enjoying the textures. yesterday, out for a walk in the rain and under her pram cover, which steamed up, she seemed to be enjoying tracing patterns with her fingers. she will eat with a spoon now, passing it back to me for reloading. interestingly, she seems to hold the spoon in her left hand.
