I’m thrilled to be able to tell you that E, A’s baby, has arrived. E arrived just hours before her due date; a baby girl. I will let A come back and tell the story in due course, but this calls for celebration. A while ago, I won a competition that Magnificent Stanley was running. The prize was a baby gro or t-shirt in the letter and fabric of my choice. I chose Pip’s initial in the vintage blue Liberty print in a long sleeve tshirt (but this was after plenty of deliberation as there are plenty of gorgeous Liberty prints to choose from). I am a huge fan of Liberty prints, so we loved the idea of these shirts straight away.
Actually, we loved the t-shirt so much that when baby E was imminent, I got in touch with Becky, who is in charge over at Magnificent Stanley and thus this celebration was born. Becky made baby E the baby gro and blanket set above & one of you can win your own version.
Pip loves her t-shirt. It is so soft, and she loves pointing to the letter on the front and shouting her name. A also reports that the baby gro and blanket are extremely soft, and she loved the matching vintage blue print that we chose so that Pip and her cousin can match!
Magnificent Stanley also make bibs and pram strap covers – Pip wasn’t left out when Becky also sent us some pram strap covers to match Pip’s tshirt. “Pretty” was Pip’s first comment when she saw the straps in action and I have seen her stroking them. I certainly think they look great!
